The operations of the Town of Yucca Valley are supplemented to a
significant degree by members of the Community who volunteer their
time. In addition to the important contributions of the members of
appointed Commissions and Committees, the community benefits from
the voluntary efforts of the senior nutrition program, Citizen Patrol, and many
other volunteer groups. Residents are encouraged to investigate some
of the volunteer opportunities in Yucca Valley.
Hi-Desert Nature Museum - whether helping with animal care,
educational programs or greeting visitors, the museum offers a variety of
opportunities to get involved.

Youth Sports Programs - the Towns Recreation Division
regularly relies on interested volunteers to serve as coaches, assistant
coaches, officials, team moms and field preparation specialists. To find

Yucca Valley Senior Center - the Nutrition for Seniors
program prepares and serves daily meals for seniors and shut-ins. Find out
