Beard Growing Contest
(Presented by the Town of Yucca Valley)
Facial hair has never been more popular! The 2nd Annual Grubstakes Beard Growing Contest has many categories for a fun time. The growing contest is underway, yet there is still time to get into the existing beard contest. Judging will be at the main stage at 2pm, Saturday afternoon, May 28.

This double elimination tournament will follow the USTTA official rules. Awards will be given for 1st place winners in each division.Participants should wear tennis shoes and bring their own equipment . Pre-register online or at the YV Community Center. Celebrate the 20th annual Grubstake Run! All ages are welcome. Awards will be
presented in the 10K & 5K event. The 2K is non-competitive. The event is
held at the Yucca Valley High School,
7600 Sage Ave.
Sunday, May 29
Race Time: 5K & 10K - 8:00 a.m. 2K - 8:30 a.m.
Cost: $20/includes an event t-shirt (youth sizes available only if pre-registered)
$2 discount for participants over 59 or under 12 years of age
Add $5 after May 20.
